Jewish Museum London commissioned this film to document the life story of Solly Irving, a Holocaust survivor, as part of a series of workshops for young people exploring grief.

Solly’s Story

We worked with museum staff and Solly's family to script this documentary, combining live action, archive and animation to create a collage-like film that immerses the viewer in Solly's life. The film ends with a series of interviews with Solly's family, linking their experiences of him with his early life story.
